Our Sigló restaurants
Restaurant Sunna is our in-house restaurant, named after the building that once stood where Siglo Hotel now stands. Just outside its windows the daily catch gets brought in so our guests might catch a glimpse of one of our enthusiastic chefs browsing it for the freshest fish in north Iceland to be offered later in the day.
Siglo's lobby café and bar is a great place to relax. Outside you'll have an excellent view of the inner marina and Herring era Museum while indoors you can recharge by the bar or the cozy fireplace. A nice simple menu provides you with the energy you'll need for a delightful day in town.
Our two marina restaurants, Hannes Boy and Kaffi Rauðka, have become the most popular spot in town among tourists and locals alike. It's so close to Siglo Hotel you can almost smell the freshly brewed coffee from your windowseat. That’s why we refer to Siglo Hotel along with our marina restaurants, our little Marina Village.
Located in the bright yellow house by the marina, restaurant Hannes Boy is named after the legend of a late local sailor. Hannes Boy is an excellent choice for those wanting to relax in a cozy romantic environment.
Kaffi Rauðka, is a great place to meet the locals and breath in the atmosphere of this nice little fishermen's town during summer time. Offering outdoor seating and a broad international menu, including everything from traditional Icelandic hashed fish to BBQ baby back ribs, this is an excellent choice for the whole family.
